Although the vast majority of support for LDN Cyprus and its partnership organizations will come from volunteers and in-kind contributions, LDN Cyprus has received two grants.
Promoting Special Education for Children with Learning Disabilities
The first was from UNDP’s initiative Action for Cooperation and Trust in June 2006 to "Promoting Special Education for Children with Learning Disabilities". The grant supported the development of this website, teacher and parent training, and two international conferences.
Empowering the AD/HD Community
The second was from from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the European Economic Area (EEA) Financial Mechanism, the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, and the Republic of Cyprus through the project "Empowering the AD/HD Community". The grant supported the conversion of this website into a web portal for all learning difficulties organizations in Cyprus.
